HOPE Camp offers students 3 days of hands-on-activities
and classes to explore a wide variety of health professions and health career
opportunities while becoming familiar with the hospital and college campus
settings. Most students attending the
camp are considering college to become a health professional.
The camp is open for rural students entering 10th-
12th grades in fall 2013.
HOPE Camp
provides students the opportunity to:
- · Explore a variety of health careers through interactive workshops
- · Learn from health professionals and college instructors/students
- · Identify the skills needed for careers in health care
- · Experience dorm living and campus life
Cost: $100
per student *
Transportation:
Student is responsible for own
transportation to and from camp. While
at camp transportation will be provided.
Supplies: Students need to bring
bedding and toiletry items, towel, swim suit any personal items needed, water
bottle, medication etc.
Included: Room (dorm room based on
double occupancy), meals, chaperones, fees for camp supplies and recreation
activities. Each student will receive a
t-shirt to wear while participating.
