Help Us Earn a $25,000 Grant For Litchville-Marion Public School

Grow The Next Generation!!!

America's Farmers Grow Rural Education, a Monsanto Fund program, gives rural public school districts the opportunity to compete for a grant of up to $25,000. All we need to do is get local farmers to nominate our school! Once nominated, we can begin the grant writing process.

This grant program's goal is to help enhance the math and science programs within rural school districts. The best way for America to remain competitive with countries such as China is to ensure our students are getting the best education possible in these two core areas, and provide opportunities for our students to learn more about (and gain more interest in) career fields in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) industries. A grant such as this would definitely help us do that.

I hope you will consider checking out this website and encourage area farmers that you know to check it out as well. The more farmers that nominate a school the stronger the application is as it demonstrates strong community support. If we end up in the grant writing stage, I will take it upon myself to complete the grant application. I do hope that you will consider nominating Litchville-Marion Public School.

Nomination Deadline is April 15th.
